I’ll be honest with you: most days, opening up my timeline feels like volunteering for bad news.
War, outrage, doom-scrolling at 1am wondering why I do this to myself. Some weeks the internet feels less like a place to connect and more like a machine designed to make you feel terrible.
And then, somehow, the algorithm gets it right for once.
This week my feed got a much-needed cleanse thanks to a steady stream of wholesome posts from women just out here spreading pure joy and love — the kind of stuff that actually makes you smile at your phone like a goof instead of clenching your jaw.
Little wins, big kindnesses, moments of warmth that remind you people are mostly good and life is mostly worth it.
So this one’s a thank-you. To all the women below who showed up on my timeline this week with nothing but positivity, light, and good energy: you have no idea how much it helped. Sometimes you don’t realize how heavy everything’s gotten until something genuinely sweet lifts a little of it off you.
Here are some of the best of them. Try not to smile.
