Sometimes coffee and energy drinks just stop doing the job and it feels like even more caffeine is needed to fully jump-start the day. One cup turns into two, then somehow there is an energy drink involved too, and the exhaustion is still hanging around. At a certain point, caffeine stops feeling like a little boost and starts feeling like emergency fuel just to function like a normal person for the rest of the day.

Sometimes an energy drink really does feel like the purrfect breakfast option when life starts moving too fast. There are mornings where functioning like a normal person without caffeine simply is not happening. One sip in and suddenly the brain starts loading properly again. At a certain point, survival mode kicks in and the goal becomes making it through the day with at least a little bit of energy left. cffeine and determination are carrying a lot of people through the week one sip at a time.

The age-old battle of coffee versus energy drinks really never ends. Some people start the day with a calm cup of coffee, while others crack open an energy drink like they are preparing for combat. Either way, everybody is just trying to get enough caffeine into their system to function like a normal human being. Some cats look like they would choose the energy drink route too. Those little guys already move through life with the exact energy of somebody who accidentally doubled their caffeine intake before leaving the house.
