I love a chill weekend day with my cat, and silly cats are like the icing on top of it all.

There's nothing that wins the calm and relaxation that I get from this exact situation: It's a weekend day, I woke up late because it's the day to forget that alarm clocks exist, and my cat trots into the room doing that cute "mrrp?" questioning sound as if she's asking, "Are you finally awake?" And I'm so glad to tell her, "Yes, I am… Come here, you little princess." And my cat jumps on me while I'm still in bed, only to settle on my belly, purring like she's never purred before, only for me to stay in bed for another hour just petting her.
