Cody Rhodes is one of the biggest WWE Superstars of the current generation, and arguably the face of the company. The American Nightmare is part of the SmackDown roster as the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion.
Interestingly, there were some rumors about The QB1 possibly appearing on this week's episode of Monday Night RAW, which ultimately didn't materialize. However, his presence could have made the show more compelling.
Let's look at three reasons why Rhodes should have been featured on the latest edition of the flagship show and how it would have benefited:

#3. Could have started the build-up for Survivor Series: WarGames
WWE is set to host Saturday Night's Main Event XLI this weekend. The event has a stacked card, promising to deliver an exceptional show. That said, there is a massive premium live event coming up at the end of next month, Survivor Series: WarGames.
Cody Rhodes could have appeared on this week's Monday night show and planted the seeds for a potential Men's WarGames Match. This would have allowed a proper build-up for the upcoming Survivor Series PLE.
#2. To confront The Vision after they betrayed Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins defeated Cody Rhodes for the first time at Crown Jewel. However, the following Monday, The Visionary was shockingly betrayed by his stablemates, who kicked him out of The Vision.
The heel group could participate in the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series. Given Rhodes' history with Rollins, if The American Nightmare had confronted Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman for their actions, it would have added a compelling dynamic to the story.
#1. Cody Rhodes could have confronted Jey Uso amid his recent change in behavior
Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes share a lot of history. From rivals to tag team champions, they have been through a lot together. That said, The YEET Master has been acting differently lately, as his obsession with regaining the World Heavyweight Title continues to grow.
Last week on RAW, Jey eliminated his own brother, Jimmy Uso, from the Battle Royal, which he ultimately won. Big Jim had a brief discussion with Rhodes on SmackDown regarding Jey's recent behavior. Therefore, The American Nightmare could have confronted his former tag team partner on Monday.
