Last week's episode of WWE SmackDown saw Jade Cargill finally embrace a heel persona. She turned on Tiffany Stratton and attacked her after coming to her aid during a beatdown by Giulia and Kiana James. Tiffany had defeated Kiana one-on-one before she was double-teamed by the heavy hitters post-match.
Now, considering that the 33-year-old's career as a babyface has seemingly been underwhelming before her heel turn last week, let's explore three mistakes that WWE must avoid with Jade Cargill for the rest of 2025.

#3. Keeping Jade Cargill as a babyface or tweener
Given that the WWE Universe has previously suggested that the creative team having Jade Cargill embrace a heel persona would be the best decision for her career, the company should consider keeping her fully as a heel going forward.
Although the AEW star has shown significant improvement since signing with the Stamford-based promotion, she is still far from reaching the top of the women's division. Now, considering the setbacks Cargill has faced in her efforts to capture the WWE Women's Championship, it seems that she has encountered some difficulties achieving this as a babyface.
Having finally turned heel last week, the Stamford-based promotion should avoid booking her as a face or tweener, as doing so could diminish the momentum she has recently gained on the blue brand.
#2. WWE must not have her suffer any sort of losses under any circumstances
Since this year, Jade Cargill has seemed to have sustained more losses than wins in most of her matches. To portray her as a top heel on SmackDown, many believe that WWE should avoid having Cargill suffer further losses, be it via disqualification or count-out. She must remain unbeaten at least until WrestleMania.
If this happens, it would perhaps establish the former AEW star as a formidable competitor and a threat in the women's division, while also garnering fans' interest in all her matches. Interestingly, she could then win the Women's Royal Rumble Match to get the main event spot at WrestleMania 42.
#1. Have her once again lose to Tiffany Stratton
Jade Cargill has made several attempts to dethrone Tiffany Stratton and capture the WWE Women's Championship as a face, but has been unsuccessful. Having adapted to a more sinister character, the company cannot afford to have her lose to Tiffany Stratton again at Saturday Night's Main Event XLI.
This is because it could diminish the 33-year-old's standing as a serious contender in the women's title picture and could serve as an effective spoiler to her heel turn storyline on SmackDown.
