WWE is a few hours away from hosting tonight's episode of SmackDown, which is set to emanate live from Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. With Survivor Series fast approaching, the show will focus on building toward the event, likely confirming the teams for the women’s WarGames Match. Hence, fans can look forward to a strong episode from start to finish.
That said, there are certain ongoing rivalries on the blue brand that fans believe the creative team must put to rest, as the wrestling universe is seemingly tired of these feuds and no longer finds them interesting.
Now, let's explore three feuds that must come to an end on WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
#3. Damian Priest and Aleister Black
Damian Priest concluded his rivalry with Drew McIntyre by defeating him in a Steel Cage match at Saturday Night's Main Event on May 24. Following his feud with The Scottish Warrior, Priest entered a compelling program with Aleister Black on WWE SmackDown, culminating in a Last Man Standing match on the October 10 episode of the blue brand, where Priest lost due to interference from Zelina Vega.
However, the 43-year-old later cost Black a potential United States Championship victory over Ilja Dragunov on the October 24 episode of SmackDown. Their feud didn't end there, as Damian Priest saved Cody Rhodes from Aleister Black and Drew McIntyre on the November 7 episode of the blue brand.
However, the rivalry between the duo has seemingly not lived up to fans' expectations. Hence, many are suggesting that the company should end its rivalry and have Priest return to his sinister side.
#2. Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill
Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton were embroiled in an intriguing feud on SmackDown after Cargill returned to the squared circle earlier this year. After several unsuccessful attempts at capturing the Women's WWE Championship, fans suggested that the former AEW star turn heel to regain momentum on the blue brand.
Having finally embraced her dark side and dethroned Tiffany at Saturday Night's Main Event XLI, many are now suggesting that the company should put an end to the bad blood between Cargill and Stratton after her potential return to the squared circle.
#1. Giulia and Chelsea Green
Chelsea Green challenged Giulia for the Women's United States Championship on the go-home edition of WWE SmackDown ahead of Saturday Night's Main Event XLI. This set the stage for the title bout last week, where Chelsea dethroned The Beautiful Madness to regain the gold.
Considering that Giulia is likely to request a rematch, many are suggesting that the company shouldn't consider pulling the trigger on this move, as the Women's United States Champion likely needs new challengers to reignite fans' interest in the title.
