WWE Superstars are known for their fabulous work both inside the squared circle and also outside the bright lights and roaring, packed arenas.

Initially, pro wrestling was all about storylines, and wrestlers usually kept their stage gimmicks on around people and hid their true selves. However, in the era of social media, things are changing. Now stars show their true selves in front of their fans more often and talk about their personal lives as well.

Some of the big superstars have come forward and even talked about their preferences, continuing to inspire the youth. In this article, we will take a look at three female ex-WWE stars who are openly LGBTQ.

#1. Sonya Deville

Former Women's Tag Team Champion Sonya Deville had a perfect 10-year stint with the Stamford-based promotion before she departed in February this year.

During her run, she has been a Women's Tag Team Champion, assistant General Manager, and more. In 2015, while competing on the Tough Enough show, she was asked about her relationship status, and she openly revealed she had a girlfriend.

In 2024, Sonya tied the knot with her longtime girlfriend, Toni Cassano, in New Jersey.

#2. Tegan Nox

Tegan Nox was released from World Wrestling Entertainment last year. In 2020, the 30-year-old former WWE star took to her official social media accounts to reveal that she is bisexual.

After competing in the independent circuits, Tegan recently made her All Elite Wrestling debut. She appeared during the backstage segment on Collision, interrupting TayJay.

#3. Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler's eight-year-long run with the sports entertainment juggernaut ended as the company did not renew her contract.

However, Baszler reportedly returned as a producer under a 90-day non-compete clause. In September earlier this year, the former NXT Women's Champion appeared in a backstage segment at WWE NXT Homecoming, where she was seen motivating Sol Ruca and Zaria.

Meanwhile, in 2013, during an interview, the 45-year-old star revealed that she was dating a woman, openly expressing her preference.
