#3. Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu already had a heated face-off

Last year, WWE hinted at a Jacob Fatu vs. Bron Breakker showdown. This happened during a match on Monday Night RAW, but their bout is yet to unfold. As the new Big Dog is part of The Vision, he may have attacked Jacob on SmackDown to send a message.

This attack solidifies the Vision as a powerful faction, and when the reality comes out, it will be a message to the entire SmackDown roster: don't mess with the Paul Heyman alliance.

#2. To entice Drew McIntyre to join the Vision at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025

We already saw months ago that a WarGames match was expected between the Vision and the Bloodline. However, due to Seth Rollins' real-life injury, plans were modified, but the bout is still set to unfold between Team CM Punk and Team Vision.

So, the mystery attack on Jacob Fatu could be Paul Heyman's perfect plan, and he may want to entice Drew McIntyre to join the Vision. The Scottishman had already clarified that he had no role in this attack, even though Fatu vs McIntyre was set to happen before the injury.

Now, Heyman may bring McIntyre out from suspension before WWE WarGames and clear that Bron Breakker was the one who took Jacob out for him. So, to return the favour, McIntyre will join them, ensuring Heyman's plan is executed well.

During their feud with Cody Rhodes, Paul Heyman once sent Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on SmackDown. So there is a chance that the villainous faction could be engaged in a backstage heat with Jacob Fatu, and eventually decide to target him weeks later.

When WWE uncovers the mystery angle, they may potentially disclose the unseen video footage and confirm Bron as the attacker. As of now, Fatu is not expected to be part of the Men's WarGames match.

Reports revealed that he has been replaced by Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in Team CM Punk.
