TV in GTA 6 might not have a direct effect on how you play the game, but it is a minor feature that helps make the world created by Rockstar Games seem genuine and lived-in. In GTA 4 and GTA 5, TV you could watch as more than just something to fill the empty space in the background. Instead, it captured the overall feeling of the game series by making fun of popular culture, the world of politics, and the news and entertainment industries.
With GTA 6 expected to be Rockstar’s most ambitious world yet, bringing back some of the best TV shows from earlier titles would go a long way in keeping that trademark satire alive. That said, here are the three best TV shows that deserve a return.

Republican Space Rangers and the other two best TV shows that should return in GTA 6
1) Republican Space Rangers
Republican Space Rangers was GTA’s version of an over-the-top Saturday morning cartoon gone wrong. It followed three enthusiastic, astronauts flying around the galaxy, eliminating whatever they saw as a threat to America.

The show’s signature details made it unforgettable: the spaceship’s ridiculous phallic design, the absurd dialogue, and the cartoonish violence that felt like a twisted mirror of real-world propaganda. Even in GTA 5, its influence lingered through fan references, collectibles, and cosplayers spotted near the Oriental Theater.
Bringing it back in GTA 6, possibly with a new season reflecting modern culture wars, would be the perfect way for Rockstar to comment on today’s media environment. It could become one of the most talked-about parts of the game again, not just for its shock value but for how closely it mirrors the absurdity of real-world politics.

2) Fame or Shame
Fame or Shame captured everything broken about modern entertainment: humiliation disguised as talent. Hosted by Lazlow, the show was a parody of The X Factor, America’s Got Talent, and every other reality show where contestants are mocked for views. It fits the GTA universe as it is loud, fake, and desperate for attention, making it one of the best TV shows.

Imagine GTA 6’s Fame or Shame filmed in a Vice City venue, with contestants who represent the influencer generation like streamers, viral dancers, wannabe celebrities, and fitness gurus. It’d be a fresh take on an old idea, turning satire of reality TV into something that hits closer to home.
3) The Men’s Room
The Men’s Room is one of the best TV shows in GTA (Image via Rockstar Games)While not as flashy as the others, The Men’s Room is one of the best TV shows from GTA 4 deserves another shot in GTA 6. It was a talk show set in a locker room where two hosts gave questionable advice on relationships, anger, and health. Most of the discussions spiraled into wild, violent stories told by Bas, one of the hosts.
What made The Men’s Room work was how real it felt. It parodied every loud, pseudo-masculine talk show that tried to pass off bad behavior as manly wisdom. Bringing it back would fit perfectly in GTA 6’s Vice City, where social media gurus and self-help influencers thrive.
The show could evolve into a podcast-style parody, poking fun at modern alpha male culture while keeping the raw humor that made it so memorable.
