3 AEW stars who must win at any cost at Full Gear 2025

AEW Full Gear 2025 is set to take place on November 22 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Given that this is one of the company's biggest PPVs of the year, there is a stacked lineup of matches planned for the show. There are several high-stakes matches on the card that should prove to be exciting. However, there are a few stars who will put everything on the line at Full Gear. Here are three AEW stars who must win at any cost at Full Gear 2025.

#3. Kris Statlander

Kris Statlander shocked the world at All Out 2025 when she finally won the AEW Women's World Championship. Since then, she has proven that she is the new face of the women's division by defeating former champion Toni Storm in a singles match at WrestleDream 2025.

Now, Statlander is gearing up for her toughest challenge when she defends the title against Mercedes Mone at Full Gear. The CEO has been a dominant force in AEW for the past year and is looking to add one more title to her collection. Although Statlander holds the top prize in her division, defeating the former Sasha Banks could prove once and for all that she is the queen of the women's division. Therefore, Tony Khan must book her to win at any cost so that the company can establish another prominent female star.

#2. Jon Moxley

The last few months have been anything but good for Jon Moxley. After losing the AEW World Championship to Hangman Page at All In: Texas, Mox failed to regain the title.

Following this, he engaged in a brutal feud with Darby Allin. While he defeated Darby in a coffin match at All Out 2025, he was able to do so thanks to the help of Death Riders. However, the Purveyor of Violence wasn't so successful in his I Quit match against Darby at WrestleDream 2025. Mox had to utter the words I Quit which must've been embarrassing for him. If that wasn't enough, Moxley was the one who tapped out to Kyle O'Reilly at Blood & Guts.

Therefore, the former AEW World Champion is out for retribution when he faces Kyle O'Reilly at Full Gear. This is a match Mox must win to prove to his stablemates that he is the right person to lead them to the promised land.

#1. Hangman Page must retain the AEW World Championship at Full Gear 2025

Hangman Page has been busy feuding with Samoa Joe for the past few weeks. This feud gained intensity after Samoa Joe and The Opps brutally assaulted Page after his title defense at WrestleDream 2025.

Now, Samoa Joe and Page are set to do battle inside a Steel Cage Match at Full Gear. Page is still early into his title reign. Given the effort that went into winning the title in the first place, Page must do everything in his power to retain the title at Full Gear.
