23-year-old star sends a message after officially signing with AEW

AEW CEO Tony Khan has confirmed the signing of a major group to the company. The announcement was made on social media during the Worlds End pay-per-view.

The final PPV of the year featured several matches during the Zero Hour preshow. The tag team of Hyan and Maya World was also booked during the preshow in a tag team encounter against the "Sisters of Sin," Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Despite a tough fight, Hyan and Maya came up short during the match.

Immediately following the pair’s match on the Zero Hour broadcast, Tony posted the news to the social media platform X that the deal was finalized and the two stars were now officially a part of All Elite Wrestling. Maya World reacted to the announcement, claiming that it was an honor for her to be a part of the company. The news came as a welcome announcement for the 23-year-old star, who has been competing in the company for the last few months.

Maya World and Hyan haven't won a match in AEW

Despite becoming full-time AEW roster members, the team hasn't won a match in the company.

Their journey with the company began on November 8, under a unique situation. They replaced Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize in a match against Anna Jay and Tay Melo on Collision after the tandem walked out. The duo of Hyan and World had not teamed up before this encounter, but showed good coordination during the encounter.

Later on the December 25 edition of Collision, the duo lost to AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions the Babes of Wrath, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale, in a non-title match.

It will be interesting to see how these young stars will be booked in the coming months.
