Whether we like to admit it or not, sausages and specifically cocktail sausages have a symbiotic relationship with Christmas. There will forever be an association between them that warms our hearts and gives us just a little bit of acid reflux when we think of it.
And it is not only us hoomans who have this wholesome attachment to those cylindrical meat tubes, our cute cat children are just as obsessed, if not more so than us, seeing as they are usually not allowed to partake in the sausage party we indulge in every year. Well this is quite the toss up. Both cats are probably right in their own way. The cat on the left has likely correctly identified father Christmas, but the cat on the left has noticed that he is eating the cookies and milk that he assumed we for him.
