John Cena's illustrious career in the WWE as a performer is set to end in a few weeks when The Leader of The Cenation has his final match in Washington, D.C. Meanwhile, Aiden English wants to see NXT's Je'Von Evans win the tournament and title in December 2025.

WWE is currently hosting 'The Last Time is Now' tournament to determine John Cena's final-ever opponent in the promotion for his retirement match. The 48-year-old legend wants to give back to the industry on his way out, and Aiden English thinks NXT's Je'Von Evans should be the one to win.

Speaking on the Rebooked Wrestling Podcast, English stated that if it were up to him, he would've picked the 21-year-old NXT star to win 'The Last Time is Now' tournament and dethrone Cena as the Intercontinental Champion on his way out in his final-ever match for the Stamford-based promotion.

"Honestly, if I had my duckets [money], give me Je'Von Evans going all the way. He's on a roll. He's on a heater. They love him. What a making someone moment for John [Cena]. Give him the IC title. Huge crowning moment... What if you just came out of nowhere with this kid who's already been on such a roll and delivered every step of the way? Sometimes I don't know if they'll do it," English said.

John Cena returned to Boston and received the biggest ovation of the night. However, The Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio confronted The Leader of The Cenation and made one of the biggest mistakes of his life as he was put in a title match against the legend in Massachusetts.

In the end, John Cena became a Grand Slam Champion and won the Intercontinental Championship in Boston. Later, he tweeted on X that he will have his final ever match on Monday Night RAW in Madison Square Garden in the coming days.

"Over 23 years you’ve allowed me to have 544 matches on #WWERaw. The most in WWE history. My favorite match.. is my next one! Which will be our LAST ONE! Don’t miss our last chance to grace @TheGarden ring as we say farewell to RAW live, Monday night on @netflix at 8pm ET," Cena tweeted on X.
