The World Matchplay of Darts, one of the biggest majors of the PDC year, is here, and the stakes couldn't be higher.
Big payouts are up for grabs for qualifiers, and getting wins at an event like this could be a game-changer when it comes to moving up the world rankings.
The prize money has been increased this year, which makes it all the more important to perform well.
How much money is up for grabs at the 2026 World Matchplay of Darts?
The total prize fund this year, which will be split among all 32 players, is a record-breaking £1,000,000.
That's £200,000 more than last year's total, which was £800,000.
The winner of the tournament this year will take home £225,000, which is £25,000 more than what Luke Littler took home as the winner last year.
