Eight teams remain at the 2026 World Cup of Darts, meaning a champion will be crowned at the end of Day 4.
Several pairs have inserted their names into the title conversation, so be prepared to expect the unexpected on the final day.
2026 World Cup of Darts quarterfinals, semifinals and final winner predictions and previews
With seven matches to be played, let's take a look at what to look forward to on Sunday.
*Please note that predictions for the SFs and F are based on the matchups I predict to happen after the QF round

Quarterfinal #1: (4) Scotland vs. (9) Ireland
Winner: Scotland, 8-5
Scotland had the highest team average by a pair in the second round, and I don't see them slowing down.
Gary Anderson and Cameron Menzies worked off each other well in their opening match, and they pose a threat to any country left in this event.
Ireland's scoring has also been impressive over the past few days, but I don't think it's going to be enough to overcome a strong Scottish pair.

Quarterfinal #2: (1) England vs. (7) Wales
Winner: England, 8-3
England, unlike Wales, started their World Cup campaign in the second round on Saturday.
They had a pretty sub-par performance and were put under a lot of pressure from Spain.
Wales likely will produce at a level similar to what we saw from Spain against England, so as long as Luke Littler and Luke Humphries can produce a better effort than what we saw against Spain, they shouldn't have to sweat out another match in this round.

Quarterfinal #3: (3) Northern Ireland vs. (14) Latvia
Winner: Northern Ireland, 8-4
Northern Ireland just escaped with a win against Belgium in the second round.
On paper, their scoring is much better than Latvia's, who have averages of 83.83, 79.66 and 79.53 so far.
The one thing Latvia has done well this tournament is their execution in do-or-die moments, so the only real avenue they have to getting into the semifinals is if Northern Ireland makes a mess on their double attempts.
Quarterfinal #4: (2) Netherlands vs. (5) Germany
Winner: Netherlands, 8-6
Both countries faced near scares against their opponents in the second round. Germany had a slight decline in this round after stellar group stage matches.
The Netherlands will need to be more efficient on their doubles, but now that they have a match under their belt, their rhythm should be smoother.
Germany will have the crowd behind them, but the Netherlands doesn't strike me as a pair that will let that aspect of the game get to them.
Expect a tight contest, but the Netherlands appear as the favorites here.
Semifinal #1: (1) England vs. (4) Scotland
Winner: Scotland, 8-7
Purely based on what we saw in the second round, I believe Scotland is the stronger team.
That could change if England has a major bounce-back match against Wales, but Scotland has stood out as much more impressive so far.
Even if England isn't playing their A or B game, it should be close, but Scotland looks to be on a mission and is eying a run at the title.

Semifinal #2: (2) Netherlands vs. (3) Northern Ireland
Winner: Netherlands, 8-6
The Netherlands were a little shaky against Sweden, but if they can get past Germany, they'll have a lot of confidence and momentum heading into the next round.
Both of these teams have the personnel to get a title, but the story for both has been all about each player's form.
It's been a little erratic for all four players, and even though van Gerwen won a World Series event last weekend, it's unclear how he'll play match to match. The same could be said about Josh Rock, who had a slow debut in the Premier League.
In the end, this should be a close contest, but I think by this stage of the event, the Netherlands will have their composure together to get past the reigning champions.

Final: (4) Scotland vs. (2) Netherlands
Winner: Scotland, 8-6
Heading into this tournament, I believed Scotland was the country with the best chance at beating England.
They stood out due to Menzies' impressive Pro Tour form in the past month or so, and because Anderson is a veteran who is almost always reliable.
The one-match sample size of Scotland's 2026 WC could be argued to be too small to use in predicting how the rest of the tournament unfolds, but even if they don't play as well as they did against Norway, they should still be a massive threat.
The Netherlands didn't seem as comfortable on the stage as Scotland, and I just believe Scotland has what it takes to bring home another World Cup title.
