Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler are co-favorites to win the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, N.C.
The second major of the season, the PGA Championship, features a field of 156 golfers, but McIlroy and Scheffler are clearly the cream of the crop, sitting at +470 odds to win the Wanamaker Trophy at bet365 sportsbook.
No other golfers are under +800.
McIlroy, just one month removed from completing his career grand slam with a win at the Masters, is surely going to be one of the most popular bets at Quail Hollow, even at short odds.
The Northern Irishman has three wins and five top-10 finishes in seven starts on the PGA Tour this season (not including team events).
Scheffler is coming off a win at the CJ Cup, and finished T2, 4 and T8 in his three outings before his win at TPC Craig Ranch on May 4.
Bryson DeChambeau (+825) is the third-favorite at Quail Hollow and the only other golfer with single-digit odds at bet365.
DeChambeau was in the final pairing with McIlroy at Augusta, but fell off the boil Sunday and finished T5. He won LIV’s most recent event in Korea on May 4 and finished runner-up at this event in 2024.
There is a big jump after DeChambeau to Justin Thomas (17/1), Jon Rahm (19/1) and defending champion Xander Schauffele (19/1).

As is always the case at major championships, there are some tempting prices out there on some of the biggest names in the sport.
Brooks Koepka will certainly get plenty of betting support as a 50/1 outsider, while Shane Lowry (45/1), Corey Conners (60/1), and Justin Rose (100/1) will be popular sleeper picks this week.
