On November 11, 2025, Xports News reported that the upcoming 2025 MAMA Awards will feature an exciting mix of special performances and collaboration stages under the theme “UH-HEUNG,” symbolizing joy and self-expression across all cultures. The press conference was held at CJ ENM Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul, where Business Division Director Park Chan-wook and producers Lee Young-joo and Ma Du-sik revealed this year’s ceremony details.
The MAMA Awards will be held on November 28 and 29, 2025, at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong. It is going to mark the event’s return to the city after seven years. With a seating capacity of over 70,000, this year’s ceremony is expected to be grand. The show will be broadcast live across more than 250 regions via Mnet Plus and global digital platforms.
The event will be hosted by Park Bo-gum and Kim Hye-soo. The former, who has hosted the MAMA Awards multiple times since 2017, will lead Chapter 1. Meanwhile, Kim Hye-soo will take on Chapter 2 for her first music awards hosting role. Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh will also attend as a global presenter.
Among the biggest highlights, Park Bo-gum will join dance crew BUMSUP from World of Street Woman Fighter for a special stage. Meanwhile, Stray Kids’ Felix and Kim Hye-soo will collaborate for a "message performance” that opens the second night.
In addition, ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Han-bin and dancer Kyoka will create a unique themed act. One of the most anticipated collaborations will be an official crossover with Netflix’s animated film Kpop Demon Hunters. The idols will bring to life the fictional K-pop groups Huntrix and Saja Boys through a high-tech live performance that merges animation and reality. According to Korea JoongAng Daily, the MAMA Awards producer, Ma Doo-sik, said,
"In an official collaboration with ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ we will present an original stage that transcends the boundary between reality and animation.
