F1 heads into the final triple header of the 2025 season, starting with the Las Vegas GP, which will take place from November 20 to 22 at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. The race is already an anticipated affair with the drivers' title on the line, and early weather forecasts hinting at possible rain in Nevada in late November have added more intrigue.
The two previous editions of the young Las Vegas GP have excited fans with brilliant races. Max Verstappen held off Charles Leclerc to win the maiden race on the Strip circuit in 2023, while George Russell claimed victory for Mercedes in 2024.
Weather has always been a major talking point in Las Vegas, and considering the timing, the track goes green in sub-10°C temperatures under the lights. This has created an unusual challenge in both previous editions, as F1 cars rarely run in such cold conditions.
This time, though, things could get even more hectic with the forecast for the Las Vegas GP looking sporadically wet. The state of Nevada is even expected to be hit by two Pacific storms in the week leading up to the Grand Prix.
Here is the complete weather forecast for the 2025 Las Vegas GP:

How the 2025 drivers' championship is shaping up ahead of Las Vegas GP
Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri at the Italian GP - Source: GettyWith his double wins in the Sprint and the main race at the Brazilian GP, Lando Norris has made himself the favorite to claim a maiden drivers' world championship ahead of the Las Vegas GP. While the Briton cannot mathematically secure the title in the American city, he will aim to further strengthen his position at the top of the standings.
After leading the championship for most of the season, Oscar Piastri now sits 24 points behind his McLaren teammate with only three rounds remaining. The gap is not huge, but given the Aussie driver's recent form, it looks like a difficult task. Still, the championship remains alive with Piastri desperate to rediscover his early-season form in the final leg of 2025.
Max Verstappen's surge in the second half of the year had put him back in contention for the title, but a tough weekend in Brazil has left him 49 points behind Norris. But an impressive recovery from the pitlane to the podium at Interlagos has kept him in the fight, and the reigning world champion holds an outside chance of securing a fifth title as the season enters its final three race weekends.
