HALIFAX, NS — Long term care workers from Melville Lodge and Shoreham Village, represented by Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) 3840 and 3454 respectively, are poised to hit picket lines May 7 and 8 at 7 AM, joining 30 other homes already on strike province wide.

Melville Lodge will begin picketing on May 7 at 50 Shoreham Lane, Halifax, NS. Shoreham Village will open their pickets on May 8 at 50 Shoreham Village Cresent, Chester, NS. Other CUPE long term care workers will be picketing at the following locations this week:
