We are at the stage of the NFL offseason where trade proposals are coming thick and fast for teams in need, and the Baltimore Ravens, it appears, need more help at receiver.
Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Devontez Walker, Elijah Sarratt, and Ja'Kobi Lane make up Lamar Jackson's weapons list from a receiver standpoint. A couple of veterans and rookies to help push this offense further.
But is there room for the Ravens to improve with a signing this offseason? Sure, and ESPN's Jeremy Fowler has an interesting trade proposal involving the Ravens and Buffalo Bills.
Baltimore sends a 2027 fifth-round pick in exchange for Keon Coleman.
"Buffalo seems content with keeping Coleman, but Baltimore can jump into the fray to improve its thin receiver depth," Fowler wrote. "Coleman's play style should fit with Lamar Jackson, as he's a big receiver with catch radius. This would also allow Buffalo to develop fourth-round rookie Skyler Bell for a sizable role in the offense."

Keon move makes zero sense
There are several reasons.
One, will the Bills really send a player who could potentially break out and help a direct AFC rival? I doubt it.
Secondly, would the Ravens, who already drafted Sarratt and Lane, put a potential progress stopper in Keon in front of them?
Third, giving up draft capital for a player who hasn't shown anything in the league in two seasons is a bold move. Yes, it could work out, but the Ravens aren't exactly on the same level as Buffalo when it comes to throwing the football; they are more of a run-first team.
So, there are a couple of reasons why, to me at least, a move for Coleman doesn't make much sense for Baltimore right now, nor would it for Buffalo.
