Zion Williamson is averaging career-highs for the Pelicans in the 2025-26 season
Zion Williamson's transformation this summer gave the fans much to be excited about. It wasn't just for show, as he seems to have leaped in the 2025-26 season.
Although it is still early in the campaign, Williamson is averaging career-highs in points, rebounds, assists and steals through his first two games. The former No. 1 pick is averaging 27 points, 9.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 4.0 steals per game.
While Zion Williamson has been in fine form, it hasn't translated to any success for the Pelicans, who have started the season with three consecutive losses. The team will return to action on Wednesday to face the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena.
