Zach Bryan Joins Kings of Leon to Perform One of Their Collabs During Band’s Nashville Show

Kings of Leon played a surprise show Thursday night (Sept. 10), performing for approximately 500 fans at the Basement East, one of Nashville’s classic venues. The band announced the concert just one day prior, and fans could get tickets only at the Basement East box office.

The band also had a special guest for those in attendance — they welcomed hitmaker Zach Bryan for a surprise performance during the encore, as he joined Kings of Leon for a rendition of their collaboration “Bowery.”

They released “Bowery” in 2025, and Kings of Leon has previously joined Bryan on some of his stadium shows in 2025, as well as on his 2026 With Heaven on Tour trek. The band also recorded with Bryan on the 2025 song “We’re Onto Something.”

The group took over the Basement East for a one-night-only show to celebrate both its new single, “My Whole World,” and the announcement of their upcoming 10th studio album, O My Beloved, due Nov. 6 on Love Tap Records/Virgin Music.

Kings of Leon also packed its 24-song, approximately two-hour set with the live debut of “My Whole World,” as well several hits from their catalog, including “Use Somebody,” “Sex on Fire,” “Pyro” and “Supersoaker.” The group’s performance at Basement East marked a full-circle moment for Kings of Leon’s Caleb Followill, Jared Followill, Nathan Followill and Matthew Followill, given that the band members began pursuing careers in music by playing Music City clubs as teenagers.

Kings of Leon’s most recent album was 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun, while Bryan’s most recent album, With Heaven on Top, released earlier this year.
