YouTuber Adam the Woo’s cause of death has been revealed.

The social media star, whose real name was David Adam Williams, died on Dec. 22 at age 51 of cardiovascular disease, his dad, Jim Williams, confirmed in a Facebook post on Monday.

Jim said the medical examiner’s report listed his son’s cause of death as “atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease,” with “obesity” noted as a contributory cause of death.

The manner of Williams’ death was deemed “natural,” according to Jim.

“Our beloved Son . . . your beloved friend . . . died, in essence, of a heart attack in his sleep from health issues he probably never knew he had,” Jim wrote.

“Now, we can all stop guessing,” he added. “Be grateful the Lord allowed him to die at home and not in a foreign country. Be grateful he was found by friends (as hard as that was) and not some nameless stranger.”

Jim, who said his late son “had big plans for 2026,” quoted a passage from the Bible about the precariousness of time.

To conclude his message, Jim wrote, “Be alert. Be ready. We love you all. Thank you for loving Adam.”

Williams was found dead at his home in Celebration, Florida just days before Christmas.

The travel YouTuber was discovered by a friend who had borrowed a ladder and looked through a third-story window, where he saw Williams lying motionless on a bed, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

“The residence was secured, and no contact was made with the adult male residing there,” a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said last month. “Deputies then responded back to the location for an unattended death at 2:53 p.m. Upon entering the residence with Fire Rescue, the male was reported deceased.”

Williams began his YouTube channel around 2009, exploring abandoned sites and filming locations from well-known movies and TV shows.

He created a second, more popular channel, “The Daily Woo,” in 2012, where he posted daily vlogs for five years and later documented visits to all 50 states.

Williams posted his final video from Walt Disney World Resort a day before his death.

The footage showed him touring the park and the town of Celebration with someone dressed as the Grinch.

“What a fun night. What a surprising night with the Grinch,” he told his 750,000 subscribers near the end of his hour-long video. “Thanks for watching, see you in the next video. The vlog … is over.”
