Back story – he has at home a wife, two dogs, and a senior cat, but all of these things couldn't stop him from spotting a lonely and innocent tortie cat. Someone must have abandoned her there, dumped her at a gas station without anything to help her. He took her in and made every attempt to find her home. No one claimed her, and he had only one choice. He took her to the vet, got her cleaned up and in good health, and decided she was his. She stole his heart during the time he mended her health.

  Whenever we encounter a person deliberating between keeping a cat or their partner, our answer is always clear - keep the cats, they've done nothing wrong. Cats literally can't get vindictive, it's not built into them. Cats don't have malice in them, it's just people who don't know how to read them correctly, or don't know how to care for them the right way. But people are a whole other story - they can get vindictive, angry, and just careless when it comes to cats. And when a person shows signs of neglect towards cats, that's a bright red line. If that's a partner - ditch them.

Not being able to interact with cats the way that we do right now would ruin our lives, basically. Our cats are too important to us. It's why we make sure, always, that our roommates are not allergic to cats. It's why we always tell potential partners that cats are our dealbreakers. If you are allergic to cats and cannot live with them, then we have no reason to continue dating.
