YoungLA’s new partnership with Austin Reaves makes me wish I was better at basketball

As someone operating in the commerce space who has covered clothing in the past, I get a lot of pitches for lifestyle brands trying to push “elevated basics” for men and women. I write most of them off pretty quickly, but there are a few like YoungLA who offer something different and feel special enough to share with a wider audience.

The Cali-based brand has been churning out impressive collections and making waves with their smart collabs, like their latest partnership with LA Lakers star Austin Reaves. Reaves’ involvement with the brand goes beyond just the typical endorsement. It represents an evolution for YoungLA from fitness and athleisure into full-fledged sportswear.
