Over the weekend of Jul 19 and 20, fans of all ages and from all areas of the country flocked to Indianapolis to view the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game and get a chance to see some of their favorite players perform up close.
However, one young girl got a little more than she expected when she had the opportunity to meet Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull. After waiting in line for an autograph from Hull at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, this young fan, dressed in a Caitlin Clark Fever shirt, seemed completely overwhelmed to find herself standing face to face with an actual WNBA player. The adorable interaction was captured on camera and shared on the Fever’s X account.

— Indiana Fever (@IndianaFever) July 19, 2025The little girl put both hands over her mouth and looked back at her parents in amazement while Hull signed the autograph. Afterward, Hull high-fived her, causing the girl to stare at her hand in shock and awe, leading to a laugh from the Fever star.
“She is not washing that hand for days,” joked one person.
“This is the only appropriate response to meeting Lexie Hull,” another person wrote.
Many of the comments praised Hull for always taking the time to have small but meaningful interactions with young fans.
