Tony Khan has emerged as a major name with the inception of AEW in 2019. He has experimented with new ways to promote his product, but that drew the ire of a top wrestling veteran instead.

The aforementioned name in question is Vince Russo. For a long time, the AEW President and CEO has been highly active on X (formely known as Twitter), engaging with his audience and building hype for his television shows. Recently, he has begun directly interacting with fans via live sessions on X.

On the latest episode of The Coach and Bro show, Vince Russo and Jonathan Coachman discussed a recent video that came out a week ago. When the Coach stated that Khan is inexperienced in doing live sessions, Russo said that Khan can't be helped because he has a mindset of not taking help. Furthermore, Russo also sounded off on the AEW head honcho for reaching out to wrestling veteran Dave Meltzer recently, when he initially berated him, hinting that Khan was a hypocrite.

"You can’t help somebody that doesn't want help and Tony Khan has made it clear that he does not want help. I don't even know if you know this that we had a video, I don't know if you saw this or not, we had a clip on castrating the marks and Meltzer was on the show and while Meltzer is on the show live, guess who is calling him on his personal phone ...(Tony Khan)Absolutely and ... Tony has been saying this from day one if that is the guy you are going to go for advice, this is the audience you're gonna have, it's that simple and obviously you're still going to him because this show is still only a week old Coach [18:52-19:40]

Jonathan Coachman offered to help Tony Khan

Before Vince Russo stated that Tony Khan did not want any help, Jonathan Coachman actually offered to fix his errors while conducting live sessions on social media. He said this after pointing out major issues with Khan's latest video.

"When the video starts on X, you can hear him go, the video's starting, count me in, count me in ... and then he started and he went (Coach doing a thumbs up impression of Tony Khan). I was like, oh man, I want to get my hands on him so badly, not to make him cool, but just to help him out a bit, i mean like whose shooting this and it was like a ... drink from a 1942 hotel, and I'm like c'mon."- [18:24-18:52]

Despite their opinions, Khan remains a prominent figure in the wrestling world and is making significant efforts to elevate his promotion to the next level.
