The New York Yankees have a lot of promising players in the minor leagues.
Names like George Lombard, Spencer Jones, Carlos LaGrange and even the disappointingly sent-down Jasson Dominguez are all in the minors to start the season while the Yanks do their thing at the MLB level.
As the season goes along, Yankees fans will surely want to know what some of those biggest names are up to.

George Lombard Jr.
- March 29: Lombard is the Yankees' top prospect, but he's opening the season at Double-A Somerset, which doesn't play its Opening Day until April 3.
Carlos LaGrange
- March 29: LaGrange made his first start of the season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a freezing Buffalo and touched 101.3 miles per hour with his fastball while allowing just one run in four innings.
Spencer Jones
- March 29: Through game one of a Sunday doubleheader, Jones is hitting .333 with an .844 OPS.
Elmer Rodriguez
- March 29: Rodriguez is starting the season at Triple-A but hasn't pitched yet.
Dax Kilby
- March 29: Kilby will begin the season at either Single-A or High-A, but those seasons haven't started yet.
Jasson Dominguez
- March 29: Through game one of a Sunday doubleheader, Dominguez is hitting .400 with an .800 OPS. Yes, he's not a prospect, but we'll track him while he's in the minor leagues.
