Yankees radio host drops massive Juan Soto revelation

4 hours ago 1

In a busy MLB offseason, the New York Mets won the biggest sweepstakes of them all. They signed Juan Soto to a 15-year deal worth $765 million, poaching him after he spent just one season with the New York Yankees and made a trip to the World Series.

Over the weekend, Soto returned to Yankee Stadium for the first time since joining the Mets, although things did not go as planned. Soto had just one hit in three games with three strikeouts as the Mets dropped two of three in the Bronx.

The Soto rumblings have kicked up a lot since his return to Yankee Stadium, and now New York radio host Michael Kay dropped a stunning revelation during his radio show

"People in the know say that Juan Soto wanted to be a Yankee. He chose the Yankees. But his family wanted him to be a Met so he chose the Mets"

Ahead of the series, Soto revealed his feelings on choosing the Mets over the Yankees, saying, "I made a decision, and I'm happy that I made it," Soto told the Post. "You look around. We have an unbelievable team. And it's going to be a good team for a long time."

Well, this seems to contradict what Soto said, and Kay stated that Soto's family wanted him to sign with the Mets, which is why he ended up in Queens instead of staying in the Bronx.

The drama continues.
