The New York Yankees made it official on Sunday morning.
They'll be without Aaron Judge for a while.
Judge has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to Saturday.
The superstar outfielder has a flexor strain in his right (throwing) elbow.
It could've been worse. Judge's UCL is intact. But he still has to miss time to allow the strain to heal, rather than creating further damage by playing with the strain.
The Yankees will miss their superstar's bat in the lineup, to be sure.

New York's immediate hitting replacement comes in the form of Amed Rosario, who was acquired in a trade Saturday night from the Nationals.
Rosario is mostly a utility infielder, although he does have experience in his career in the outfield, as well.
The Yankees can probably get by with an outfield of Jasson Dominguez, Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger in the meantime.
But it won't be the same without Judge.
