Yankees' Aaron Judge ties historic Jackie Robinson on impressive MLB record board

1 hour ago 2

Sometimes it can get lost how good Jackie Robinson actually was at baseball.

The Dodgers legend is one of the best players to ever put on cleats and step on a diamond.

And one cool modern way to remember that was just provided by Yankees superstar Aaron Judge.

Judge has tied Robinson on a cool leaderboard:

Aaron Judge is now at 34.8 bWAR across his age-30 to 33 seasons (2022-25).

That is tied with Jackie Robinson for the 6th-most by any batter across those ages in MLB history.

That's pretty specific, sure.

It's also pretty awesome.

Judge broke into the majors later than some after spending his collegiate career at Fresno State, so sometimes it's easy to forget he's already 33.

But he also doesn't show any signs of slowing down.

A comparison to Robinson is a cool one, however it can come along.

Judge likely has a few more boosts to his Wins Above Replacement in the final week-and-a-half of the season, so he'll likely slide ahead of Robinson on this list.

It's certainly great company to keep.
