The New York Yankees have gotten plenty of production out of Aaron Judge and Paul Goldschmidt so far this season.
New York currently is in first place in the American League East with a 14-9 record and MVP duo are two huge reasons why. Judge entered the season with sky-high expectations. That's not shocking after launching 58 home runs last year and driving in 144 runs. He's still producing and somehow is at an even higher level right now. Judge currently has seven home runs and 25 RBIs to go along with an eye-popping slash line of .384/.490/.698. Overall, this season, he is leading the league in WAR (1.8), runs scored (21), base hits (33), RBIs (25), batting average (.384), on-base percentage (.490), slugging percentage (.698), and OPS (1.188) in 23 games played.
Goldschmidt didn't enter the season with the same expectations after an up-and-down 2024 season with the St. Louis Cardinals but he's looked like a superstar once again. The power numbers aren't there as he has one homer and seven RBIs, but he's been an on-base machine. He's slashing .372/.421/.465 in 23 games.
Judge and Goldschmidt actually are the first Yankees duo to be No. 1 and No. 2 in batting average in the league through 23 games, as shared by MLB Network.

"Aaron Judge (.384) and Paul Goldschmidt (.372) rank 1st and 2nd in MLB in AVG," MLB Network shared. "It’s the first time in franchise history the Yankees have had two hitters lead MLB in AVG at least 23 games into the season."
Now that's pretty impressive. What more could the Yankees ask for from these guys right now?
