Yankees' Aaron Judge makes bold Shohei Ohtani, Dodgers claim

The New York Yankees lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series last season. Aaron Judge is already thinking about getting revenge on them.

During an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" in Atlanta for the All-Star Game, Judge was asked about Shohei Ohtani and losing the World Series to the Dodgers. Judge's response outlines his mindset on the Dodgers and their superteam.

"He’s a great guy and a great ambassador for this game," said Judge. "We’re gonna get him back though, we’ll see him down the road."

Ohtani and the Dodgers have the second-best record in all of baseball. Like Judge, Ohtani is an MVP candidate once again and is playing a huge role in his team's success. The Yankees and Dodgers have both gone through rough stretches recently, but they have the star power to make runs in October.

While the Dodgers have plenty of superstars and have become the so-called villains of Major League Baseball, the Yankees have no shortage of stars. The Yankees and Dodgers both have multiple MVP Award winners on the roster. Both rosters are riddled with All-Stars as well.

Last year was the first World Series appearance for both Judge and Ohtani. Ohtani and the Dodgers came out on top, but Judge is already thinking about a rematch in the Fall Classic. The Dodgers made some key additions after winning the World Series, while retaining their stars. The Yankees lost Juan Soto, but brought in Cody Bellinger, Paul Goldschmidt and Max Fried.
