‘WWHL’: Andy Cohen’s Eyebrows Raise As Brooke Shields Spills The Tea About Her Sex Life With JFK Jr.

Brooke Shields is kissing and telling. The actress appeared on Thursday night’s (May 21) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she reflected on her whirlwind romance with the late John F. Kennedy Jr.

According to the star, her relationship with the most eligible bachelor of the 1990s was more of a “crush” than a “love story.”

“I didn’t have a love story. I had a crazy, crazy crush,” Shields told an intrigued Andy Cohen during the WWHL: After Show. “I never slept with him. We dated, but I never slept with him, so I don’t know if that counts. It counted for me, anyway. He was lovely to me.”

Shields has been open about her short-lived fling with Kennedy over the years. The two met in Aspen in the ’80s—before he married Carolyn Bessette—and went on one date. However, Shields told The Howard Stern Show in 2023 that their relationship didn’t go further than an innocent kiss because of her refusal to sleep with him. Per Shields, when they saw each other the next day, he didn’t look at her or speak to her. “He showed his true colors in that,” she said, per StyleCaster.

Still, Shields fondly remembers Kennedy as a great kisser. In a recent TikTok video posted by her daughter Rowan Henchy—who is slated to appear in the new season of Next Gen NYC on Bravo—Shields describes Kennedy as “one of the best” kissers.

Like the rest of us, Shields was fully invested in Ryan Murphy’s depiction of Kennedy’s romance with Bessette, whom he married in 1996, in the FX series, Love Story. The couple, along with Bessette’s sister, tragically passed away in a plane crash in 1999.

“I watched it start to finish. I loved it. I thought the acting was amazing,” Shields gushed, revealing that her daughter also worked as a production assistant on the show.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
