WWE reportedly wants Jade Cargill to win the Women's Championship. She is scheduled to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the title at the upcoming edition of Saturday Night's Main Event.

On the latest edition of the blue brand, The Storm took out The Buff Barbie, turning heel for the first time in WWE. Despite having wrestled in multiple title matches, the 33-year-old has yet to win a singles championship in the Stamford-based promotion.

In a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that the global juggernaut was determined to put the gold on Jade Cargill in order to justify her signing despite the lack of improvement in her performance. He added that WWE wanted the former AEW star to win the title before she got injured.

Jade Cargill won the Queen of the Ring Tournament and punched a ticket to a WWE Women's Championship match at SummerSlam. However, she lost the bout to Tiffany Stratton. The next title match between the two stars was on the September 12 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, which ended in a double count-out.

On September 26, The Storm and Nia Jax unsuccessfully challenged Tiffany Stratton for the title in a triple threat match. Only time will tell if it is the case of fourth time lucky for Cargill when she wrestles Stratton this Saturday.

WWE Hall of Famer wants popular star to join Jade Cargill

Bianca Belair is currently out of action due to an injury she sustained during her match at WrestleMania 41. However, wrestling veteran Mark Henry recently suggested that The EST of WWE should return as a heel and reunite with Jade Cargill.

Speaking on a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer stated that the former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions were close to one another. Henry pushed for them to be a dominant heel duo before their highly anticipated feud against each other.

"But her and Jade are so close, why would they not allow them to—not be a tag team—but just to be support systems for each other, and get to the point that, 'Hey, maybe one of these days we're gonna have to cross paths, but we're not gonna talk about that until it happens.' And just allow them to be two evil people in pro wrestling, which I would love," Henry said.

Only time will tell when Bianca Belair makes her return from injury. It will be intriguing to see if she crosses paths with Jade Cargill instantly after her return.
