WWE superstar takes shot at Packers with bold Bears prediction

5 hours ago 1

The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears won’t face off until December, so fans must wait a while to see the historic rivalry renewed. Still, that hasn’t stopped players, and even some high-profile fans, from adding fuel to the fire with bulletin board material ahead of the late-season matchups.

Last month, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams took a jab at Packers fans while Green Bay offensive lineman Rasheed Walker stated that Chicago's victory in Week 18 was lucky.

If the trash talk between players wasn't enough, WWE superstar Seth Rollins is already getting into the action. Rollins, who is filling in as host of the "Rich Eisen Show," gave his wish list for the Bears in 2025, and he believes that Chicago will sweep the two regular-season games against the Packers.

"It's not going to be that hard because we should have been 2-0 against the Packers last year," Rollins said on Thursday's show. "My wish at No. 4, 2-0 against the Green Bay Packers. We beat them in the finale at Lambeau already, Caleb, undefeated at Lambeau Field. But we should have beat them at Soldier Field as well.

"If not for a bit of a coaching hiccup, maybe could have got a couple extra yards, kicked a little bit closer. So your trajectory of the ball goes up instead of out, and you're 2-0 against Green Bay in the Caleb Williams era, but we could do that in 2025. I think no problem is what I say. No problem, Green Bay."

How the season shapes out for the Bears and Packers will determine the confidence level of the two sides heading into both games in December. In a tough NFC North, every division game carries extra weight and could decide the winner and who host a playoff contest.

While the trash-talking between players and high-profile fans will attract viewers to see how these games turn out, Jordan Love and Williams have the opportunity to make these two matches even more must-watch if they are having an outstanding 2025 season.
