WWE star Trinity Fatu (Naomi) celebrates championship win at Evolution PLE

Trinity Fatu has been working in the world of pro wrestling for many years. Known as Naomi in WWE circles, Fatu has been a part of major promotions throughout her career. She's on her second tour with WWE and found a way to pull off a shocking turn of events on Sunday, July 13.

Naomi won the women's "Money in the Bank" match when it was held, giving her a chance to "cash in" the briefcase whenever she wanted to do so. Well, Naomi, after suffering a loss against Jade Cargill at the WWE Evolution PLE (Premium Live Event), decided her time to shine was at the end of the show. 

After her surprising pinfall of women's champion Iyo Sky, Naomi raised her hands in the ring with her title. Once she got backstage, Naomi posed for the now-familiar photo with Paul "Triple H" Levesque, WWE's chief content officer.

Naomi has received an outpouring of love and support from all around the pro wrestling world. Even former opponents like Charlotte Flair and AEW's Mercedes Mone (former WWE star Sasha Banks) offered their praises and love for her.

Naomi took advantage of a hard-fought main event between Rhea Ripley and Sky to capture her title. Now WWE fans get to see what happens next with a new champion on board.
