WWE power couple starting a family: “We’re going through IVF”

Former WWE superstar C.J. Perry has opened up about the most personal chapter of her life, revealing that she and husband Rusev are preparing for parenthood. Rusev returned to WWE a few months ago and has been dominating the entire RAW roster lately, while Perry has not made many appearances in the industry since her release from WWE.

During a recent appearance on Daria and Toni Unwrapped, the former star revealed a lot about her personal life, among which was her wish to have babies. Perry revealed that she and her husband, Rusev, were going through IVF, trying to start a family.

“I would love to have a lot of kids. We’re going through IVF. At one point, we thought we were going to have seven embryos, and I was like, I want all seven. I would have to have surrogates. I would want to carry a couple and have surrogates at the same time. And I definitely want to carry the baby, for sure,” she stated.

Further, Perry revealed that her focus on her wrestling career kept her away from having babies in the past. She stated that she was perfectly ready now and that her entire focus was on her family.

“I talked to my doctor, and she said I’m very good to carry. I just wasn’t ready before. So that’s something that’s really exciting. I always wanted to have kids, but when I was 33, I was not ready. I was really starting to wrestle at that time And I always wanted to be a great mom, but I also wanted to have a great career, 100%. Now I feel like I can focus on that fully. While Rusev has been making headlines with his work on the red brand, his wife was spotted at a major event recently. Fans spotted Perry sitting among the WWE Universe at Clash in Paris recently, supporting her husband in his match against Sheamus.

While Perry had signed a legends deal with the company recently, it would be interesting to see if the company brings her back in any capacity in the near future.
