WWE NXT Results: Ex-AEW star signs with WWE & gets immediately attacked; top champion pinned (6/17/25)

WWE NXT kicked off with the Evolution eliminator match between Jaida Parker and Thea Hail. We've got three more such matches tonight, while the TNA World Champion will get in the ring for a six-man tag team match later in the night.

WWE NXT Results: Jaida Parker vs. Thea Hail

Jaida was in control early on, but Hail sent her outside and hit a big dive. Back in the ring, the two traded nearfalls before Hail got caught in a reverse chinlock. Parker got a big suplex for another near fall as the match went on.

Back after a break on NXT, Hail got the wristlock in before Parker broke it up by running into the corner. Thea thought she made her opponent tap and started celebrating, but Jaida came back with a hip attack and got the win.

Result: Jaida Parker def. Thea Hail

Grade: B

Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura were backstage when Hank and Tank offered them a tag title match whenever they wanted.

WWE NXT Results: Kelani Jordan vs. Lash Legend

Legend got some big moves in early in the match, but Jordan managed to block a big suplex. Legend was sent outside with a dropkick before Jordan hit the Asaii moonsault.

Back from commercials on NXT, Lash got the backbreaker rack before Jordan came back with some elbow strikes. Kelani got a nearfall off a splash before Lash got the side slam for the win.

Result: Lash Legend def. Kelani Jordan

Tony D'Angelo was in the ring next and talked about Stacks stabbing him in the back. He wasn't sure if he could trust Luca Crusifino and wanted to talk to him in person. Luca came out and said that he was still loyal to the Don.

D'Angelo asked if he was lying, and Luca said he wasn't, before Stacks came out with two goons and said that Tony didn't want to accept the truth. Stacks sent his goons to attack the Don, and one got taken out before Crusifino accidentally took the Don out with a strike.

Luca tried to apologize, and Stacks was seen grinning as NXT moved on.

KC Navarro was injured and could not compete tonight. Wes Lee came in with his boys and told Trick that he would join the TNA World Champion for the tag match.

Ethan Page and the Vanity Project were clowning around backstage when Ricky Saints came up and threatened them. They laughed at Ricky, who could still barely speak, and left.

Ashante Adonis stepped up to Ricky and told him he was outnumbered before the two set up a future match.

Elijah from NXT showed up with his guitar and sang about kicking Wes Lee's a** before calling Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura to join him for the following match.

Backstage on NXT, Tavion Heights said that he wanted to leave the NQCC, and Charlie Dempsey told him that if he could beat Je'Von Evans in a match, he could do so.

WWE NXT Results: Elijah, Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura vs. Trick Williams, Wes Lee & AJ Francis

Wes and Yoshi kicked off the match, and Inamura got the early takedown before tagging Briggs in. Trick came in and immediately got isolated, and Elijah tagged in for a big clothesline on the off-brand champ.

Trick came back with a leg lariat but was dragged outside and sent into the barricades. Lee tried for a dive but was caught and dropped before AJ Francis took a big triple team sequence of kicks and dives.

After some back and forth, Elijah tossed Wes outside the ring at High Ryze, and Briggs hit a dive to the outside on Francis before Yoshi hit the splash on Trick in the ring and pinned the TNA World Champ for the win.

Tony D'Angelo wanted Luca Crusifino to face Stacks next week to prove his loyalty, but Ava told him that Stacks had a Heritage Cup match next week against Noam Dar.

WWE NXT Results: Izzi Dame vs. Zaria

Dame got a big kick to the face right off the bat and unloaded on Zaria before the latter came back with a top rope submission hold. Zaria tried for a modified crossface on the mat before Dame caught her with a big move and got a near fall.

Dame got some elbow strikes before Zaria kicked out again. Dame followed up with a neckbreaker and a backdrop before spearing Zaria into the corner. Zaria took a big boot and a chokeslam but came back with a German Suplex.

Tatum Paxley showed up at the ringside and spooked Sol Ruca, distracting Zaria. Dame used the distraction to get the spinebuster and pick up the win.

Result: Izzi Dame def. Zaria

Josh Briggs told Inamura backstage that his pinning the TNA Champ means he should get a title shot. Yoshi told Briggs that he should aim for the TNA Title, and Inamura himself would go for the NXT Title so they can both be the top champs.

WWE NXT Results: Jordynne Grace vs. Lola Vice

Vice ducked a big lariat early on, and Grace tossed her across the ring and to the floor. Back in the ring, Grace got a hip attack before taking her down with a boot in the corner.

Grace got the Vader Bomb, and it was countered into a triangle choke before Vice took her down with a big slam and a spinning kick. Grace dodged some strikes and got a big suplex before getting the win with Beast Mode.

Blake Monroe was next for the official contract signing and said that her dream had always been to be in WWE. She made her signature on the contract before Fatal Influence came and called Ava out for kissing up to the newbie.

Monroe called them insecure b*tches before Jacy got in her face and got slapped for it. Fallon attacked the newcomer, and they outnumbered her before putting her through the table in the ring.

Fatal Attraction stood tall after taking Monroe out as NXT went off the air.
