WWE Hall of Famer reveals Vince McMahon's reaction to Playboy rejection

A WWE Hall of Famer shared Vince McMahon's reaction to her turning down an offer from Playboy Magazine. McMahon used to be WWE's CEO but resigned from the company in 2024.

Speaking on Pod Meets World, Trish Stratus shared that she was offered more than once to appear in Playboy, but she was not interested. Stratus added that Vince McMahon hounded her "like crazy" to take the offer, but she always turned it down.

“When Playboy came along, I was like, ‘Absolutely not interested.’ Vince, oh my God, hounded me like crazy. He’s like, ‘It’s a great opportunity.’ I was shown during that time, ‘If you turn this down, we’re going to give your opportunity to her. Are you sure?’ ‘No, I still don’t want to do it. Thank you.’ They came to me for years and years, and I was like, ‘No.’” she said. [H/T: Ringside News]

Trish Stratus challenged Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship at Evolution 2025 earlier this year but was unable to win the title. Stratton lost the title to Jade Cargill earlier this month at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Former WWE writer comments on Vince McMahon's appearance

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Vince McMahon's new look.

The 80-year-old was charged with reckless driving earlier this year and had a court hearing in Stamford, Connecticut. McMahon had a new look at the hearing, and Vince Russo commented on it. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend suggested that Vince McMahon looked the best he had in years.

"He does not look bad. So I am thinking in my mind, the stages we have seen of Vince, maybe he just went through cosmetic surgery or whatever he did, and maybe they needed time to heal. I am telling you, bro, I just saw the footage, and I am like, ‘That’s the best I have seen him look in a long time," said Vince Russo.
