Wuthering Waves 2.8 banners schedule

The Wuthering Waves 2.8 banners have been revealed by Kuro Games during the official livestream. Besides the new characters, Chisa and Buling, who will become playable in the upcoming update, several older resonators will also get their rerun during version 2.8 of Wuthering Waves.

This article will go over all of the upcoming banners coming in the Wuthering Waves 2.8 update.

Similar to the previous updates, the 2.8 update of Wuthering Waves will be divided into two phases. Chisa, the new 5-star Resonator of the patch, will become available on her Convene, alongside her weapon, during the first half, while Buling will join the second half rerun banners.

Phase 1 (November 20, 2025)

• Phoebe (5-star)
• Taoqi (4-star)
• Yuanwu (4-star)
• Aalto (4-star)

Chisa is the only new 5-star Resonator for the upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.8 update. She will be featured in the first half, alongside Phoebe. Chisa is a Havoc character who uses a Broadblade in battle, and she is rumored to be a support for Negative Effect teams such as Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle.

Meanwhile, Phoebe is a powerful sub-DPS who can apply Spectro Frazzle and is the best character with whom Zani in Wuthering Waves has great synergy. You can pick up both of them, given how much Astrite you have saved and are willing to spend.

Chisa's weapon, Kumokiri, and Phoebe's rectifier, Luminous Hymn, will also receive separate Convenes for a limited time as part of the Wuthering Waves 2.8 banners.

Phase 2 (December 11, 2025)

Cantarella and Phrolova in Wuthering Waves will receive their rerun banners during phase 2 of the 2.8 update. Both of them use Rectifiers and are from the Havoc attribute.

Cantarella is a sub-DPS who can buff Echo Attacks, and Phrolova is a Damage Dealer who can use this effect. With the recent introduction of Qiuyuan in Wuthering Waves, both of them have received a massive damage boost if you have the lone swordsman from Huanglong, with the three of them making one of the strongest teams in the game.

They will also have a rerun of their weapons, Lethean Elegy, and Whisper of Sirens during the second phase of the Wuthering Waves 2.8 banners.
