The 2026 World Baseball Classic has arrived.
With pool play opening on March 4, the international tournament will be holding games in Japan, Puerto Rico and the United States over the coming days. In total, 20 nations will be competing for the title — but only 10 will have the chance to advance to the single-elimination bracket.
While Japan is the defending champion, taking down the U.S. in 2023, the Americans boast the deepest group of star's in this year's tournament, while the Dominican Republic and Venezuela also represent two top threats.

2026 World Baseball Classic baseball schedule
Pool play in the 2026 World Baseball Classic will take place March 4-11 (U.S. Eastern time zone). Games will be telecast on the Fox Sports family of networks. Games can also be streamed via Fubo, which offers a free trial.
