The NCAA women's hockey tournament has brought excitement and drama throughout the past weeks, but only four programs remain, and are headed to the Frozen Four.
No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Wisconsin, No. 3 Penn State and No. 5 Northeastern are headed to University Park, Pennsylvania to fight for a national title this weekend. The four programs have been dominant in the tournament bracket, cruising past their quarterfinal opponents with ease.
In the first semifinal, Ohio State will take on Northeastern. This will mark the 14th meeting between the two programs, but just the second since the 2006 season. A Big Ten matchup will go down in the other semifinal, with home team Penn State taking on Wisconsin. The two have yet to meet this season.
