WNBA star Lexie Brown is clearing up rumors about the alleged involvement in Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson's breakup.
“I've seen what's being said online and I want to be clear, none of it is true and I have no involvement in this situation,” the WNBA star, 31, wrote on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, April 26.
Brown, who plays for the Seattle Storm, shared that she is focusing on the new WNBA season and not rumors.
“This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me, and my focus is fully on that.”
Megan accused Thompson, whom she had been dating for nine months, of cheating on her on Saturday (April 25) via her Instagram Story.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall,” Megan wrote on her Instagram Story at the time.
She later shared with People that she is no longer with Thompson and that they have officially broken up.
“I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," Megan said in a statement. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward. I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
At this time, Thompson has not reacted to the accusations.
