Paige Bueckers is different.
There's never been a WNBA rookie like her, when you break down the numbers.
On Friday night, Bueckers became the first rookie in league history to surpass 350-plus points and 100-plus assists in just 20 games.

When you think about all the great guards that have hit the ground running upon entering the WNBA, it's amazing that Bueckers is the first to this achievement.
The UConn legend put up 17 points and six assists against the Valkyries on Friday to reach this history.
On the season, Bueckers is putting up 18.1 points, 5.6 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 0.7 blocks per game.
She struggled with her efficiency early in the season but has slowly picked that up as the campaign has gone on. That should only keep getting better.
And Bueckers is already standing on ground no WNBA rookie has ever stood on, so that's a pretty good place to start.
