EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup has hoped to highlight the ability of the United States to hold top-class global sporting events across the country.
All across the country, matches were held to see the first edition of the expanded competition play to a dramatic conclusion. Thirty-two teams from around the globe convened to determine the champion of the club football universe.
At the end of the tournament, only two participants remain as Premier League side Chelsea meet the defending UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.
With the 2025 tournament now set to culminate in a dramatic conclusion and America turns towards hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the U.S. president is slated to attend the final at MetLife Stadium.

The U.S. president has forged a close relationship with FIFA chief Gianni Infantino. World football's governing body announced Monday it would open an office in New York City's Trump Tower. Infantino has made two separate appearances in the final week of the Club World Cup at Trump Tower, and he has accompanied Trump on multiple trips abroad.
According to reports, Trump's appearance at the game could potentially cost upwards of $2.5 million when considering the massive security required for such a public appearance at a crowded venue.
It's not the first time a major U.S. political official has attended a Club World Cup match this summer, as J.D. Vance was on hand to watch Borussia Dortmund defeat Ulsan at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati earlier in the month-long tournament.
Will Barron Trump attend the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final?
It's not immediately clear whether Barron Trump, Donald's son with Melania Trump, will attend the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium.
Barron, now 19 years old, attends NYU but has largely kept himself out of the public eye.
However, it's known that Barron is a big soccer fan. He was a member of the D.C. United youth team at the age of 11, and has been spotted wearing various kits, including an Arsenal shirt.
