Game 7 of the World Series in extra innings? Yes please.
There's nothing better than bonus baseball. The season just doesn't want to end quite yet.
And the rules are just a bit different in the playoffs.
There's no runner on second base to start extras. That's by design.

Why do Dodgers, Blue Jays not have a runner on 2nd base in extra innings?
This is how it works in the playoffs.
MLB implemented the bonus baserunner to get regular season games to end quicker.
But because it's a bit of a gimmick, they avoided using it to end playoff games.
Most regular season extra-innings games end in the 10th or 11th inning because of the extra runner.
But in the postseason, games can extend much further, because there's no initial runner on base.
They've already played 18 innings in a game this World Series, back in Game 3.
Maybe they can do it again.
