After the Golden State Warriors fell to the Phoenix Suns in the NBA's Play-In Tournament, speculation began to swirl around the future of Stephen Curry and the other remaining members of the Warriors' 2010s dynasty.
Curry, Draymond Green and head coach Steve Kerr have uncertain statuses moving forward in the Bay Area, where the Warriors are increasingly bending to the reality that an organizational reset is looming after a historic run of four NBA titles between 2015 and 2022.

After the Warriors' 111-96 loss to the Suns, Curry "announced his retirement" in a scathing press conference, the clips of which went viral on TikTok and spooked Warriors fans.
"I was literally out there on one knee trying to carry four grown men on my back," said Curry at one point. "What a joke."

Curry has not announced his retirement, and he is likely to play at least one more NBA season even as the Warriors continue to fade from championship contention.
Though Curry struggled in the loss to the Suns, against whom he scored 17 points on 16 shots, the 38-year-old produced one of single-greatest performances in the previous Play-In game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Curry, who missed one-third of the season with swelling in his left knee, scored 35 points in a crazy comeback win over the Clippers -- which showed he still has plenty in the tank irrespective of the Warriors' future direction.
