The Houston Texans clearly didn't try to tackle Travis Etienne Jr.
It was a tie game with less than two minutes to play, and the Jacksonville Jaguars' RB waltzed into the end zone.
They may not admit it afterward, but they clearly let Etienne score.
Etienne was glad to take the points for a 17-10 lead.

— NFL (@NFL) September 21, 2025Why did the Texans let the Jaguars score a TD?
The Texans had two timeouts left. The Jags could've run the clock very, very low before kicking a potential game-winning field goal.
Instead, they wanted to give C.J. Stroud a shot with the football with a minute and 45 seconds to play.
Whether it worked or not was almost inconsequential.
The Texans decided they didn't want to end the game without getting the ball back, and so they let up on defense in the hopes of winning with their offense.
