The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their list of inactives for the Week 15 game versus the Miami Dolphins and defensive lineman Derrick Harmon and wideout Roman Wilson are both on it.
Wilson is now missing his second straight game as a healthy scratch, while Harmon will be out for his third consecutive game.
Here's what we know about the reason behind Wilson and Harmon being inactive for Monday night.
Why Roman Wilson is inactive
Wilson is inactive likely because the Steelers are opting for more experience at the wide receiver position with Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, both of whom are active.
The Steelers have also opted to make Ben Skowronek and Scotty Miller active over Wilson and that likely has to do with the fact that the two veterans offer value as special team players, something Wilson does not.
If Wilson had been more productive over the course of the season, this wouldn't be happening the past two weeks. Unfortunately, Wilson just hasn't done enough to justify being active over the veterans in such an important game.
Why Derrick Harmon is inactive
Harmon has been battling a knee injury for multiple weeks now, which is the cause of his inactive status.
The writing was on the wall that Harmon wouldn't play during the week after he logged just a single limited practice.
Harmon's absence is a tough blow in a game against a run-heavy offense like Miami's.
